Our Work

Jobs, Not Stock Photos

Every photograph on this site is D&B's own, taken on D&B's own jobs. None of it is bought, none of it is borrowed and none of it is a picture of somebody else's shop. Customer plates have been blurred and nothing else has been changed.

A dark sedan with its hood up on the grass shoulder of a two lane highway, a technician in a yellow hi vis shirt kneeling at the front of it, and the D&B Mobile Mechanic van parked behind with tall pines on both sides
A breakdown worked where it stopped. Van in behind, hazards on, and the repair happening on the shoulder rather than at the end of a tow.
Three orange traffic cones set out in a line along the white edge line of a rural highway, tapering back toward the D&B van parked on the shoulder ahead
Cones set out well back before anybody puts a hand on the car. A roadside job that is not safe first is not a job.
The front corner of a car up on a jack with the wheel off, the strut, control arm and sway bar link exposed, a replacement wheel hub still in its box on the ground beside impact guns, a hammer and a socket set
A front corner stripped down to the strut and the control arm, with the replacement hub still boxed. The old part stays on the ground where you can look at it.
A wheel and tire laid on a mat beside a jacked up SUV with the brake rotor removed, a socket set, an impact wrench and a floor jack on the ground, the open D&B van behind with its tool drawers showing
Wheel off, rotor off. Brake work gets measured before it gets quoted, and this is what measuring actually looks like.
A blue pop up canopy set over a silver sedan on a driveway with the front wheel off and a control arm on the ground, tools laid out on mats, the D&B van parked alongside with its side door open
A canopy up over a driveway job. East Texas weather does not stop the work, it just gets planned around.
Two D&B technicians working under the raised hood of a silver crossover parked at a curb, one leaning across the engine bay with a tool in hand
A car that would not start, worked at the curb where it died.
David of D&B Mobile Mechanic leaning into the engine bay of an older truck in a black cap and blue nitrile gloves, working on a fuel line beside the serpentine belt
David in an engine bay. One person quotes the job, turns up and does it, which is why the reviews all use the same name.
The D&B service van at dusk with its own hood standing open and the front bumper removed, exposing the engine and the intercooler, with tools laid out on a mat in front of it
The service van with its own bumper off. The tools that keep other people running get the same treatment.
A red Chevrolet HHR parked nose out under a metal carport at dusk with the hood standing open and a traffic cone beside the rear wheel
An evening job under a carport. The van works until nine, and a lot of these calls come in after somebody gets home from work.
The D&B van parked next to a white full size pickup on a gravel lot with thick green trees behind them both
Work trucks are a real part of the week. A crew standing around costs more than the repair does.
The white D&B Mobile Mechanic van parked under the bright canopy of a fuel station at night, door lettering visible along the side
Between calls. The van carries the tools and the common parts, which is what makes a one visit repair possible.
The D&B van pulled in behind a broken down sedan on a highway shoulder, a technician in hi vis working at the front of the car
Another shoulder job on a county road, from a different day.
